Description: 

The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville (Town) is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified Proponents to develop a user-friendly and engaging mobile app for use by Town citizens and the general public at large. The desired end deliverable will be a Town branded mobile app that is easy to update, cost effective to maintain, and one that can support a wide range of smartphone and tablet devices across both Android and Apple iOS platform ecosystems.  The mobile app will help the Town achieve the following outcomes:

-Support the Service Excellence pillar of the Town’s Strategic Plan by introducing a new channel through which citizens can access local government services;
-Deliver value-added services to citizens that take full advantage of the unique capabilities available on mobile devices (e.g. photos, videos, geolocation, notifications, etc.); and
-Showcase the programs and services available through the Town while providing citizens with access to convenient 24/7 self-serve options.
