| Description: |
The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville (the “Town”) is soliciting Bids for the supply and planting of trees on boulevards and in parks and woodlots in various locations of the municipality for 2025 and 2026. The estimated quantity required is approximately two hundred to three hundred and fifty (200-350) trees per year and shall be typically 40-50 mm caliper in size and nursery stock, balled and burlapped (no bare root stock). The Specifications and Scope of Work (collectively, the “Work”) for this project are as set out in this Request for Tender (RFT), as may be amended by addendum issued by the Town. The quantities and species of trees described herein are for reference only and may be adjusted at the discretion of the Town. The Town reserves the right to add or delete from the quantities described/requested. The schedule for tree planting will be based upon site conditions, budget availability and other factors at the discretion of the Town. The Town intends to award to a single Contractor. The Town will not be accepting any Subcontractors for the work. |
