| Description: |
The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is soliciting Proposals from qualified and experienced Consultants for completion of a Roundabout Screening Policy Study. Municipalities require a defined procedure to evaluate when a roundabout is warranted in comparison to other appropriate types of intersections, including signalized intersections and four-way stops. Accordingly, the Town is seeking to retain a Consultant with expertise in roadway safety and transportation to develop a Roundabout Screening Policy for the Town’s existing and future roundabouts and perform a roundabout network screening assessment of the Town’s intersections to identify priority and feasible locations for roundabout implementation as well as assess the operational and safety performance of existing roundabouts. |
