The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville (the “Town”) is soliciting Bid Proposals from qualified Landscape Architectural consulting firms (“Proponents”) to provide landscape design services, detail design services, tendering and contract administration services for the redevelopment of an existing park with a play site, shade structure, pathways and other amenities located at 41 Penndutch Circle, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario.

The 4,958.06 m2 (0.5 ha) site is surrounded by an existing residential neighbourhood. Reference Appendix A – Aspen Parkette Site, for the location details. The Proponent shall base the design and contract administration services on an overall project budget of $260,000, including construction and implementation.

The Proponent shall complete the design and construction tender component of the project by January 2024. The Town will tender the project in February 2024 with contract award anticipated for March 2024. Construction start-up will be scheduled for May 2024 and construction administration services shall extend to project completion, estimated September 2024.

The Specifications and Scope of Work (collectively, the “Project”) are as set out in this Request for Proposal (RFP), as may be amended by addendum issued by the Town.
