| Description: |
The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville (the “Town”) is soliciting Bids for the supply and planting of trees on boulevards and in parks and woodlots in various locations of the municipality for 2021 and 2022. The estimated quantity required is six hundred (600) plus trees per year and shall be typically 40-50 mm caliper in size and nursery stock, balled and burlapped (no bare root stock). The Specifications and Scope of Work (collectively, the “Work”) for this project are as set out in this Request for Tender (RFT), as may be amended by addendum issued by the Town. Work for 2021 is expected to be completed by June 1, 2021 for the supply and planting of spring trees and November 1, 2021 for the supply and planting of fall trees. Work for 2022 is expected to be completed by June 1, 2022 for the supply and planting of spring trees and November 1, 2022 for the supply and planting of fall trees. The quantities and species of trees described herein are for reference only and may be adjusted at the discretion of the Town. The Town reserves the right to add or delete from the quantities described/requested. The schedule for tree planting will be based upon site conditions, budget availability and other factors at the discretion of the Town. The Town intends to award to a single Contractor. |
